Multi-Cancer Detection

GH_BIG.D-4f902dd6.png

One blood test. Early signals
across 10 cancers.

You have built a life worth protecting. The Multi-Cancer Detection by Guardant looks for early cancer signals from a single blood draw, so you can act with the same foresight you bring to everything else.

Surgery-Breast-Surgery--Streamline-Ultimate.png

Bladder

More common with age; early changes are often silent, so timely detection matters.

Surgery-Breast-Surgery--Streamline-Ultimate-1.png

Breast

One of the most common cancers in women; highly treatable when found early.

Surgery-Breast-Surgery--Streamline-Ultimate-2.png

Colorectal

Usually develops silently; screening catches it before it spreads.

Surgery-Breast-Surgery--Streamline-Ultimate-3.png

Esophageal

Often advances without clear symptoms; finding it sooner widens treatment options.

Medical-Specialty-Stomach--Streamline-Ultimate.png

Stomach

Often linked to lifestyle and viral factors; early detection improves survival.

Surgery-Breast-Surgery--Streamline-Ultimate-5.png

Pancreatic

Difficult to detect until late; early DNA signals are crucial.

Medical-Specialty-Lungs--Streamline-Ultimate.png

Lung

Often symptomless until advanced; early detection saves lives.

Medical-Specialty-Liver--Streamline-Ultimate.png

Liver

Can develop quietly long before symptoms appear; early awareness helps.

Surgery-Breast-Surgery--Streamline-Ultimate-4.png

Ovarian

Symptoms are often vague and easy to miss; early detection is challenging but important.

Prostate

One of the most common cancers in men; often slow-growing, so monitoring matters.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

10 Cancers. One Test.

Together, these 10 cancers account for around two-thirds
of all cancer-related deaths.

The screening gap

Most cancers have no routine screening.

Many cancers are found only after symptoms appear. The Multi-Cancer Detection by Guardant is designed to surface
signals earlier, including for cancers not covered by standard screening.

What sets Multi-Cancer Detection apart: when a signal is detected, the test gives a primary and secondary prediction of where in the body the cancer may have originated, helping guide next steps.

HOW IT WORKS

Simple. Precise. Powerful.

Frame 1321322900.png

What is cell-free DNA?

Cells release small amounts of DNA into the bloodstream. Cancer cells, if present, also release circulating tumour DNA. Multi-Cancer Detection reads the methylation patterns that distinguish one from the other.

Frame 1321322900-1.png

What is DNA methylation?

Methylation is a natural chemical tag on DNA that can switch genes on or off. In cancer cells these tags differ, and the pattern can also hint at where a cancer may have started.

the next step?

The Guardant Multi-Cancer Detection test is a laboratory developed test for individuals aged 40 or older without a known diagnosis of cancer. It is intended to complement, not replace, guideline-recommended cancer screening. A negative result does not eliminate the possibility that cancer is present or will occur in the future, and individuals should continue to participate in age-appropriate, guideline-directed screening. A positive result requires confirmatory diagnostic evaluation as directed by a qualified healthcare provider. Results should be interpreted in the context of other clinical information by a qualified medical professional.
