Getting started

It starts with a $30 consult.

Not a form, not a chatbot. A licensed doctor reviews your health, confirms whether GLP-1 is right for you, and explains your plan and its full cost before you commit to anything.

Check your eligibility

A doctor decides, not a questionnaire.

Eligibility thresholds shift with ethnicity, medical history and what you are already taking. Your doctor reads all of it before anything is prescribed. If GLP-1 is not right for you, they will say so.

You see the full cost before you commit.

Your plan, your dose and what it costs each month, explained at the consult. The consult does not commit you to anything. You decide afterwards.

Then the programme, not just the prescription.

Unlimited doctor consults, a dedicated health coach and monthly InBody scans, all inside one monthly membership. Pause or cancel anytime.

How GLP-1 works

It works with your biology, not against it.

GLP-1 is a class of medication that works with your body's own appetite signals. It does three things.

01

It slows your stomach

Food stays with you longer, so you feel full sooner and for longer after meals.

02

It reduces cravings

It calms the hunger signals that drive snacking, so eating less is not a constant battle.

03

It steadies blood sugar

It smooths out the energy crashes and afternoon cravings that derail most diets.

Weekly injections or daily tablets

The right routine for you.

Your doctor recommends the format that fits your medical profile and your week. Both are collected at the clinic or shipped to you monthly.

Which format is appropriate, and whether any is appropriate at all, is decided by your doctor at your consult.

The medicines

The names people search for, explained.

Most people arrive here having searched a brand name. Here is what those names actually are. Which medicine suits you, and whether any does, is decided by your doctor at your consult.

Retatrutide

Not approved anywhere

People ask about this one because of the headlines. Retatrutide is still investigational. It has not been approved by any regulator anywhere in the world, it is not registered in Singapore, and it is legally available only to people enrolled in the manufacturer's own clinical trials.

PROTOCOL does not prescribe it, does not supply it, and cannot obtain it. Anything sold as retatrutide outside a clinical trial is unlicensed, and neither its contents nor its safety have been verified by anyone. If that ever changes and it is registered here, this page will say so.

These are prescription only medicines. Some are licensed for weight management and some for type 2 diabetes, and they are not interchangeable. Your doctor reviews your health history, explains what is appropriate for you and what it costs, and prescribes only where it is clinically right. We do not dispense on request.

FAQ

Weight loss injections in Singapore, answered.

How much does medical weight loss cost in Singapore?
Your programme starts with a S$30 doctor consult, before GST. At that consult your doctor confirms whether GLP-1 is suitable for you and explains your personalised plan and its full cost before you commit to anything. Membership starts from S$350 a month, about S$12 a day, and includes medication, unlimited doctor consults, a dedicated health coach and monthly body composition scans. There is no lock in.
How much does Ozempic, Wegovy or Mounjaro cost in Singapore?
Those are brand names for GLP-1 medicines, and at PROTOCOL the medication is included in your membership rather than priced separately. Membership starts from S$350 a month, about S$12 a day, whichever GLP-1 your doctor prescribes, and that also covers unlimited doctor consults, a dedicated health coach and monthly body composition scans. Where you sit in the range depends on the medicine and the dose your doctor decides on. You see your exact monthly figure at your S$30 consult, before anything starts. All prices exclude GST.
Do you prescribe Ozempic, Wegovy or Mounjaro?
Those names refer to two medicines. Semaglutide is sold as Wegovy and as Ozempic in weekly injection form, and as Rybelsus in daily tablet form. Tirzepatide is sold as Mounjaro, a weekly injection. Liraglutide, a daily injection, is sold as Saxenda. We do not prescribe by request. At your S$30 consult a licensed doctor reviews your health history and decides whether a GLP-1 is clinically appropriate for you at all, then chooses the medicine and the format with you. Some of these medicines are licensed for weight management and some for type 2 diabetes, and they are not interchangeable.
Is a weight loss jab the same as a GLP-1 injection?
Yes. A weight loss jab, a weight loss injection and a GLP-1 injection all describe the same thing: a prescription medicine, given by injection, that works on the appetite signals your body already uses. At PROTOCOL it is usually a weekly injection, or a daily tablet where that suits you better. It is not a slimming treatment, a fat burner or a supplement, and it is prescribed only after a doctor has reviewed your health history.
How is PROTOCOL different from online weight loss apps?
We are a real clinic with licensed doctors at 71 Robinson Road, not an app. You can see your doctor and your health coach in person, your medication is overseen month to month rather than dispatched on a subscription, and your progress is tracked with clinical grade body composition scans. You are never left to figure it out alone.
Do I need a weight loss clinic, or can my GP prescribe this?
A GP can prescribe. What a weight loss clinic adds is everything around the prescription. PROTOCOL is a weight loss clinic at 71 Robinson Road with weight loss doctors licensed by the Singapore Medical Council, a dedicated health coach and monthly InBody scans. If you are overweight, or living with obesity, the medicine is one input: the monthly review, the dose adjustment and the habit work are what help you lose weight and hold it. That is what you are choosing between, not the medicine itself.
Am I eligible for GLP-1 treatment?
GLP-1 treatment is generally suitable for adults with a BMI of 27.5 or above, or a BMI between 25 and 27.5 alongside a weight related health condition. Our online check looks at BMI only, so it is a starting point rather than a decision. Because thresholds vary with ethnicity and individual health history, eligibility is always confirmed by a doctor at your consult, never by a form alone.
Is there a BMI calculator I can use?
Yes. The scale further up this page is a BMI calculator. Set your height and weight and it shows your BMI, along with what an average loss would mean in kilograms for someone starting where you are. BMI is a starting point rather than a decision, and your doctor confirms whether treatment is suitable at your consult.
How does GLP-1 medication work?
GLP-1 works with your body's own appetite signals rather than against them. It slows stomach emptying so you feel full for longer, reduces cravings, and helps steady blood sugar. Together that helps you eat less comfortably and reach a sustainable calorie deficit without relying on constant willpower.
How much weight can I expect to lose?
On a doctor led GLP-1 programme combined with coaching and lifestyle change, our patients see an average of 15 to 20% body weight loss, alongside improvements in blood sugar, blood pressure, cholesterol and energy. Individual results vary depending on your starting point, medication, dose and how closely you follow your plan. Your doctor will set realistic expectations at your consult.
Can I do the programme online, or do I need to visit the clinic?
Both. You can do everything virtually, or visit us at 71 Robinson Road for in person consults and InBody body composition scans. Most members mix the two depending on what is convenient that month.
What support do I get beyond the medication?
Every membership includes unlimited doctor consults, a dedicated health coach for nutrition and habit support, monthly body composition tracking, and ongoing side effect and dose management. The medication is one part of a complete, supported programme, not the whole of it.
Are there side effects?
Most people get on with GLP-1 well. The side effects people notice most often are mild and temporary, usually some nausea or a change in digestion in the first few weeks while your dose steps up. Your doctor sets that pace deliberately to keep it comfortable, and your health coach helps with the practical side, such as meal timing and portion size. More serious reactions are uncommon, and there are some medical histories where GLP-1 is not the right choice, including pregnancy and certain thyroid and hormone conditions. Your doctor goes through all of this with you before prescribing anything, and stays with you month to month. That is the difference between a doctor led programme and a subscription that posts you a pen.
Can I pause or cancel?
Yes. There is no lock in. You can pause or cancel your membership anytime by messaging our team.

GLP-1 medication is a prescription only treatment. Eligibility and suitability are determined by a licensed doctor following a medical consultation and review of your health history. GLP-1 medication may cause side effects, which your doctor will discuss with you. Weight loss results vary between individuals and depend on adherence to treatment and lifestyle change.
