Choose your panel
How long ago the exposure was usually decides which panel you need. If you are not sure, our care team will tell you, and we will say plainly if it is still too early to test.
The three most frequently transmitted infections in Singapore, and the ones most likely to show no symptoms at all.
The common three plus HIV and syphilis. The panel most people should run for a routine check after a new partner.

The honest comparison
The category is full of things that look like a test and behave like a vending machine. Here is the difference, stated plainly.

What we test for
Every infection has a window period, the gap between exposure and the point a test can reliably find it. Test inside that window and a negative result means very little. These are the timings we work to.
The most commonly reported bacterial STI, and usually silent. Left untreated it can affect fertility. Curable with antibiotics.
A bacterial infection of the genital tract, throat or rectum. Frequently symptomless, particularly in women. Curable with antibiotics.
A common parasitic infection. Often mistaken for thrush or a urinary infection, and easily cleared once identified.
A fourth generation combination test, detecting both the p24 antigen and HIV antibodies. Earlier detection than an antibody only test.
A bacterial infection that moves through stages and can stay quiet for years. Entirely treatable, and important to catch early.
A viral liver infection. Sexually transmissible, vaccine preventable, and worth knowing your status either way.
A viral liver infection, transmitted mainly through blood contact. Now curable in the great majority of cases.
Herpes simplex type 1, an antibody test. Classically oral, increasingly genital. Very common and manageable.
Herpes simplex type 2, an antibody test. Predominantly genital. Manageable with treatment that reduces both symptoms and transmission.
How it works

Results are released to you by the clinic. Never to your employer, your insurer or your family, and never sold.
Singapore requires every clinic to notify MOH of certain infections, including HIV. If you want fully anonymous HIV testing, we will point you to an MOH anonymous test site.
