Why it matters who does it

A jab is easy. Knowing you needed it is not.

Most places vaccinate on request and send you home. We check what you are already protected against first.

We check before we vaccinate

One blood test tells us whether you are already immune to hepatitis A and B. Many adults are, and never knew.

1 in 25adults here carry hepatitis B without knowing it. Only the antigen test finds them.

Read by an accredited lab

The same laboratory standard as the Core Health Test, so the result is one a doctor can act on.

1 in 2no longer show protective hepatitis B antibody as adults, despite infant vaccination.

Decided by a doctor

Your age, your history and your results together. Sometimes the answer is that you need nothing.

2 in 3have never been exposed to hepatitis A, so the vaccine still has a job to do.

The test that decides

The Immunity Check.

If one hundred adults took this test

44

Already protected

You need nothing, and we tell you so. The test has just saved you a three dose course.

52

Low antibody

Not automatically a booster. Immune memory can outlast circulating antibody, so a doctor reads it in context.

4

Carrying hepatitis B

The vaccine would have done nothing for them. Without the antigen test, four people in every hundred walk out believing they are protected.

Those four are the reason we do not simply vaccinate on request. A missed diagnosis is a worse outcome than a wasted dose.

Already a member

Your immunity markers are already in your Core Health Test results, so there is nothing to repeat. Add your vaccines from your member add-ons.

The one rule

Hepatitis A, your call. Being vaccinated when you are already immune is unnecessary, not unsafe. Hepatitis B, we test. Without the antigen result there is no way to tell someone who needs the vaccine from someone already carrying the virus. That check is not a formality we can waive.

The honest comparison

Not a jab off a list.

How it works

From asking to protected.

Four steps, and two of them may not apply to you.

1

Tell us what you need

Walk in or message us. Not sure what you are still covered for? That is the usual starting point.

2

Test, only if it matters

Flu and HPV need none. Hepatitis A and B need one blood draw, or a recent result from elsewhere.

3

A doctor decides

Sometimes the answer is no vaccine at all, and we will say so rather than sell you one.

4

Vaccinated and tracked

Recorded in your file. Where a course runs over months, we tell you when the next dose is due.

The care team

The people who decide what you need.

Physicians licensed by the Singapore Medical Council, at a clinic regulated by MOH and HSA. Every vaccination is reviewed by a doctor first, and sometimes the answer is that you need nothing at all.

FAQ

HPV, flu and hepatitis vaccination in Singapore, answered.

How much does the flu vaccine cost in Singapore?
At PROTOCOL the influenza vaccine is $60 before GST, which includes administration by our clinical team and doctor review where your history calls for it. It is a single dose, and one each year is what keeps you current, because the strains in the vaccine are updated annually.
How much is the HPV vaccine in Singapore?
The full Gardasil 9 course is $870 before GST, which is $290 per dose across three doses given at zero, two and six months. We sell the course rather than single doses, so all three are booked and allocated to you from the start. A partial course is not partial protection, and paying dose by dose is the main reason people never finish. That covers the nine HPV types responsible for the great majority of cervical, throat and anal cancers.
Do I need a blood test before the hepatitis B vaccine?
Yes, and this is the one place we hold firm. The test checks two things: whether you already have protective antibodies, and whether you are carrying the virus. Around one in twenty five adults in Singapore is a hepatitis B carrier without knowing it, and a carrier gains nothing from the vaccine. Giving it anyway means missing a condition that needs proper monitoring. If you have a recent result from another clinic or an employer screening that includes hepatitis B surface antigen, send it to us and our doctor can work from that.
Which vaccines should adults in Singapore actually consider?
For most adults between their thirties and fifties the shortlist is smaller than people expect. An annual influenza vaccine, HPV if you are 45 or under, and hepatitis A and B if testing shows you are not already protected. Other vaccines exist and may be right for you depending on age, travel and medical history, and a doctor will tell you if one applies.
I was vaccinated as a child. Am I still protected?
Sometimes, and it varies by vaccine and by person. Hepatitis B is given to infants in Singapore, yet around half of adults no longer show protective antibody levels. That does not always mean you need another dose, because immune memory can persist after circulating antibody has faded, which is exactly why a doctor interprets the result rather than a threshold deciding it automatically.
Can I get vaccinated without becoming a member?
Yes. Every vaccine and the Immunity Check are available on their own, with no membership required. The three immunity markers are also included with the Core Health Test, so if you were already considering the full screening you would not need to pay for them separately.
Does the HPV vaccine replace a Pap smear?
No, and this is a common and important misunderstanding. The vaccine prevents future infection with the HPV types it covers. It does nothing about an infection you may already have, and it does not cover every high risk type. Cervical screening remains necessary. Our Cervical Test combines high risk HPV DNA testing with a Pap smear, and answers a completely different question from the vaccine.
How many doses do I need, and how far apart?
Influenza is one dose annually, $60. HPV is three doses at zero, two and six months, $870 for the course. Hepatitis B is three doses at zero, one and six months, $210. Hepatitis A is two doses six to twelve months apart, $190. Hepatitis A and B combined is three doses, $495. Every multi dose vaccine is sold as a complete course, so all your doses are reserved when you book and we tell you when each one is due.
