Healthcare is episodic.
We built a system instead.

One system that reads where you come from, shows where you stand, acts on what it finds, and tracks where you're going.

Why PROTOCOL exists

I built the system I needed.

I have lived with Crohn's disease for most of my adult life. It taught me early what most people learn too late. Your body is always producing information, and healthcare only reads it when something breaks.

Living well with a chronic condition is not one appointment. It is testing, tracking and adjusting, for life. That discipline became a system, and PROTOCOL is that system built for everyone. The attention that keeps me well should not require a diagnosis to unlock. Everyone deserves it before something goes wrong, not after.

The problem

Your body is talking. Nobody is listening.

You produce health data every day. The usual model reads it once and waits. You find out it mattered on the day it became a diagnosis.

Your doctor sees it while it is still a trend. A plan you can act on, a retest at six months, and options you still have.

How it works

Test. Care. Track. One loop, for life.

We test deeply to find out what is happening in your body. We care for what we find, with doctor led treatment when your data calls for it. We track the results over time, so you can watch your health improve, not just hope it does.

It starts with Protocol Zero: your baseline, 100+ biomarkers drawn in twenty minutes, fixed as the point everything is measured against.

From there your ring begins to fill. Every test, every programme, every year adds to it.

That's the protocol.

Genetics

Some of your health was written before you were born. Four genetic tests, taken once, read what you inherited: NutriReady for how your genes shape nutrition, MammoReady for inherited breast cancer risk, CardioStrands for genetic cardiac risk, and NeuroStrands for late-onset Alzheimer's risk. Added to your Core Health Test, or taken on their own.

Track · 3.0 · Watch it work

More years in good health.
Tracked, measured, earned.

This is what the system is for. Every test you take and every programme you complete feeds your PROTOCOL record: your Protocol Score, your biomarker trends over years, your pace of ageing. The quiet proof that what you are doing is working, or the early warning that it is not.

Health is not a snapshot. It is a trajectory. The system exists to bend yours in the right direction, and to show you the curve.

At the end of each year your ring completes and the year unlocks. A small mark of a year invested in yourself, earned, never given.

Day 1
David, 45, takes the Core Health Test. Twenty minutes, one blood draw.
Day 5
Results consult. Most markers strong. LDL and ApoB raised, and his father had a heart attack at 58.
Day 12
His doctor suggests a genetic cardiac test. It confirms elevated inherited risk, with genetic counselling included as standard.
Month 2
A plan he actually follows, because it was built from his data, not a template.
Month 8
Retest. LDL down, inflammation down, pace of ageing slowing.
Year 2
His record is no longer a folder of PDFs. It is a trajectory he can see.
Day 1
Julie, 42, takes the Core Health Test. She had been exhausted for months.
Day 5
Results consult. Ferritin low, thyroid borderline. The fatigue finally had a name.
Day 12
With a family history of breast cancer, her doctor suggests MammoReady to read her inherited risk. Counselling arranged if a result is elevated.
Month 2
A nutrition and treatment plan built from her data. Iron repleting, energy coming back.
Month 8
Retest. Ferritin normal, thyroid stable, inflammation down.
Year 2
She caught her body's shift early, and has the record to navigate what comes next.

FAQ

The questions people ask before they start.

How deep does PROTOCOL actually go, compared with a normal check up?
A typical annual check up runs around 30 markers. The Core Health Test runs over 100, across your heart, hormones, metabolism, inflammation, organ function and micronutrients, from one blood draw at 71 Robinson Road. The depth is not the point on its own. The point is that a doctor reads all of it with you, and that we run the same panel again so you can see which way each number is moving.
What is healthspan, and how is it different from lifespan?
Lifespan is how long you live. Healthspan is how long you live in good health, before decline sets in. The two are not the same: the gap between them in most developed countries runs to roughly a decade spent in poor health. Everything in the system is aimed at that gap, which is why we track trends over years rather than issuing a yearly pass or fail.
Can you really lower your biological age?
Biological age is an estimate, not a diagnosis, and anyone promising to turn it back by a fixed number is selling something. What can be measured reliably is the direction of the markers underneath it: ApoB, HbA1c, inflammation, liver and kidney function, hormones. Those respond to treatment and to changed behaviour, and when they improve together the estimate tends to follow. We report the markers, not just the headline number.
Is this functional medicine, or wellness?
Neither. PROTOCOL is a Ministry of Health licensed medical clinic staffed by registered doctors, using accredited laboratories and tests with published reference ranges. Nothing is recommended that a doctor has not reviewed against your results. The difference from conventional care is not the standard of evidence, it is that we do not wait for a diagnosis before acting.
When should someone start, and is 30 too early?
Thirties and forties are the years the useful trends begin, which makes them the most valuable years to have a baseline from. Most of what we look for moves slowly and silently for a decade or more before it has a name. Starting earlier does not make the test more urgent, it makes every future test more informative, because there is something to compare against.
What actually happens on the day of the test?
About twenty minutes at 71 Robinson Road in the CBD for the draw itself, fasted. Results are ready in a few days and you sit down with a doctor for a full review of every number, what it means in your context and what is worth acting on. You leave with a plan and a record. The consult is part of the test, not an upsell.
Do I have to keep coming back for this to be worth it?
One test gives you a baseline and a clear picture of today. The system compounds: the second test tells you whether what you changed worked, and by the third your trajectory becomes visible in a way no single result can show. You are free to take a single test and stop. Most of the value arrives from the second one onward.
Is any of this covered, or is it all self paid?
PROTOCOL is a private membership, so it is not covered by Medisave or government screening subsidies. Many members do claim through corporate or private insurance, and our team can prepare a quote you can check with your insurer before you start.
